Bonnie Anderson and Donna Gross Javel are fast becoming known both for their creative and varied programming as well as their uncanny ability to make 'four hands' look and sound like 'two'. They have been performing together as The Four-Hand Piano Duo for enthusiastic audiences throughout the New England area ever since their 2004 debut performance in Danvers, Massachusetts.

The program will include works by J.C. Bach, Brahms, Mendelssohn, Debussy and Ligeti as well as selections from the Living Composers: AnythingPiano Project (LCAPP). The fact that these compositions encompass such a broad range of styles and cultures adds to the excitement; audience response to the programming of these works has been electrifying.

The Four-Hand Piano Duo
is thrilled to announce that Graham Howard, an Australian composer, will be at the Art Complex Museum performance to hear their performance of his rhythmically energetic composition, Short Piece No. 1. The composer will be available after the performance to answer questions and discuss his music with members of the audience. Other LCAPP selections on this program will be Belgian Tango by Beth Anderson (USA –New York), Pagan Dance No. 3 by Edmund Jolliffe (England), Theme and Variations Op. 275 by Ana I. Vargas Dengo (Costa Rica), Composition for Piano Four-Hands by Edson Zampronha (Spain) and Samba in F-sharp minor by Charles Smith (USA-Chicago). Donna Gross Javel’s Fire Dance Duo will be performed as an encore.

The concert is free and open to the public.

is a beautiful residential beach town on the south shore of Boston.
It is a great place to go to the beach or to go for a bike ride.
It also happens to have a superb French bakery! Café Vanille has three locations in the Boston area one of which is French Memories in Duxbury. French Memories is in a quaint building overlooking the water and it is open on Sundays!
