Composers of the Romantic Period (1820-1910)

Some composers from the Romantic Period who wrote music for the piano:
Johannes Brahms, Cécile Chaminade, John Field, César Franck, Gabriel Fauré, Edvard Grieg, Fanny Mendelssohn Hensel, Franz Liszt, Felix Mendelssohn, Franz Schubert, Robert Schumann, Clara Wieck Schumann and Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky.

Other composers that composed at the transition from the late Romantic Period to the early 20th Century:
Isaac Albéniz, Amy Beach, Manuel de Falla, Enrique Granados, Edward MacDowell, Sergei Rachmaninoff, and Alexander Scriabin.
